Death Has Been Destroyed!

One of Jesus Christ reason for coming to the Earth was to “break up the works of the devil (includingHappy reunions in the Paradise on earth as memorial tombs are emptied by the resurrection Adamic death) (1 John 3:8).”  By stepping into the figurative shoes of Adam and then dying as a perfect man Jesus died for all men so that all men would have an opportunity for everlasting life. (1 John 4:9; 1 Peter 3:18). Even if a man dies he can be resurrected to life. Jesus several times while on earth demonstrated that he had been given this ability by his God and Heavenly Father. (John 11:43, 44; Mark 5:24; Luke 7:11-17, John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15)

Because he has not taken over full control of mankind’s affairs yet we still have to suffer the consequences of inherited sin but soon Christ will act with full authority and reverse all the effects of the rebellion in Eden that was perpetrated by Satan, Adam and Eve! (Job 14:14, 15; Isaiah 26:19; 1 Cor. 15:24-28)

Yes death, that man was never intended to experience, with all of the pain and sorrow will be completely removed from the human condition!  1Co 15:26 “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing”.

All will have come to pass the words of Jehovah God!  (Titus 1:2)

“LOOK I AM MAKING ALL THINGS NEW…WRITE, FOR THESE WORDS ARE FAITHFUL AND TRUE! (Rev. 21:5)

Mankind Was Not Created To Govern Himself Apart From God

Mankind has formed every form of Government in an attempt to better himself.  From the first human pair that rejected God’s sovereignty (right to rule) mankind has suffered miserably.  As time has passed and mankind has grown by leaps and bounds in intelligence and technology he has still not been able to have any long term success in creating a better world.  War, violence, starvation, malnutrition, disease, and death still plague our planet.

Why can’t mankind get it right?

Mankind was created to be caretakers of the earth and animal life not rulers, legislators, or judges. ( Genesis 1:28; 2:15)  He was to take his instruction from the One who created all things and knows how best they work. (Rev. 4:11)

I well know, O Jehovah that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. (Jeremiah 10:23)

Jesus Christ was foremost in following his fathers will.  Although being perfect he still did God’s will and not his own setting a fine example for all mankind.

5 Keep this mental attitude in you that was also in Christ Jesus,+ 6 who, although he was existing in God’s form,+ gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.+ 7 No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form+ and became human.*+ 8 More than that, when he came as a man,* he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death,+ (Phil. 2:5-8)

Another reason mankind can’t get it write is the because of the influence of God’s adversary manipulating mankind’s affairs behind the scenes.

Jesus did not challenge Satan’s claim of being the ruler of the world and that situation has not changed.

5 So he brought him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time.+ 6 Then the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and their glory, because it has been handed over to me,+ and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 If you, therefore, do an act of worship before me, it will all be yours.” (Luke 4:5-8)

30 I will not speak with you much more, for the ruler of the world+ is coming, and he has no hold on me.*+  (John 14:30)

11 then concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.+ (John 16:11)

31 Now there is a judging of this world; now the ruler of this world+ will be cast out (John 12:30)

12 because we have a struggle,*+ not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces+ in the heavenly places.  (Ephe. 6:12)  (Heavenly places here are places of ruling authority not the heaven where God lives) (Rev. 12:9)(2 Cor. 4:4)(2 Cor. 11:14)

Violence – One Sign Of The Times

Whenever you look at the news or read the paper violence is taking place everywhere. Violence between nations, neighboring cities, neighborhoods, and within the family, to say the least it is rampant throughout the earth. Jesus Christ said that violence would be just one of the identifying marks of the time of the end when his father Jehovah God would act to end all violence forever. His Father has done so in the past as a warning example to us all. There is however hope for those who practice true Christian meekness.

Genesis 6:13 After that God said to Noah: “I have decided to put an end to all flesh, because the earth is full of violence…”.

Rev. 6: 4 Another came out, a fiery-colored horse, and it was granted to the one seated on it to take peace away from the earth so that they should slaughter one another, and he was given a great sword.

Matt. 24:22  In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.+

Jude 7 “…they are placed before us as a warning example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire.+

Matt. 5:5 Happy are the mild-tempered,*+ since they will inherit the earth.

Psalms 37:10,11 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more;+ You will look at where they were, And they will not be there.+

11 But the meek will possess the earth,+ And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace

How To Find The One True Religion

Learn From God’s Word

How Can You Recognize True Worship?

This article raises questions you may have asked and shows where you can read the answers in your Bible. Jehovah’s Witnesses would be pleased to discuss these answers with you.

 1. Is there only one true religion?

Jesus taught his followers only one religion, the true religion. It is like a road leading to life. Regarding that road, Jesus said: “Few are the ones finding it.” (Matthew 7:14) God accepts only worship based on his Word of truth. All true worshippers are united in one faith.—Read John 4:23, 24; 14:6; Ephesians 4:4, 5.

 2. Why do so many different religions claim to be Christian?

False prophets have corrupted Christianity and have used it to further their own interests. As Jesus foretold, they present themselves as his “sheep” but act like hungry wolves. (Matthew 7:13-15, 21, 23) False Christianity developed especially after Jesus’ apostles died.—Read Acts 20:29, 30.

 3. What are some features that distinguish true worship?

True worshippers respect the Bible as God’s Word. They strive to live by its principles. So true religion differs from religion based on men’s ideas. (Matthew 15:7-9) True worshippers do not preach one thing and practice another.—Read John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.

The true religion honors God’s name, Jehovah. Jesus made God’s name known. He helped people to know God and taught them to pray that God’s name be sanctified. (Matthew 6:9) Where you live, which religion promotes the use of God’s name?—Read John 17:26; Romans 10:13, 14.

4. How can you recognize true worshippers?

True Christians preach about God’s Kingdom. God sent Jesus to preach about the Kingdom. God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind. Jesus continued speaking about it until his dying day. (Luke 4:43; 8:1; 23:42, 43) He told his followers to preach about God’s Kingdom. If someone approaches you to speak about God’s Kingdom, to which religion does he likely belong?—Read Matthew 10:7; 24:14.

Jesus’ followers are no part of this wicked world. They take no part in political affairs or social conflicts. (John 17:16) Also, they do not imitate the world’s harmful practices and attitudes.—Read James 1:27; 4:4.

 5. What is the primary mark of true Christianity?

True Christians have outstanding love for one another. From God’s Word, they learn to respect members of all ethnic groups. Although false religion has often strongly supported the wars of the nations, true worshippers refuse to do so. (Micah 4:1-4) Rather, members of the true religion unselfishly use their time and resources to help and encourage others.—Read John 13:34, 35; 1 John 4:20, 21.

Which group bases all its teachings on God’s Word, honors God’s name, and proclaims God’s Kingdom as mankind’s only hope? Which group practices love and does not support war? The facts point to Jehovah’s Witnesses.—1 John 3:10-12.
